Privacy & data handling

JDA is built as a local-first Chrome extension. Text never leaves your browser unless you explicitly send it to a provider or export it.

What data is processed

Vacancies, resumes, prompts, rules, and reports are stored in the extension storage area. They are only used to render the UI, run analysis locally or via APIs that you configure.

Optional telemetry is not collected. The landing page only uses basic cookies described in the consent banner.

Storage & encryption

Provider tokens, Notion credentials, and custom secrets live in the browser. You decide whether to include them in exports; by default secrets are stripped.

When Ollama or remote APIs are used, calls originate from your machine. Make sure to review provider terms if you enable third-party endpoints.

Permissions & access

JDA requests access to tabs you explicitly open the popup on, clipboard permissions for copy helpers, and network access for the endpoints you enable.

You can revoke permissions in chrome://extensions at any time. Removing the extension deletes local data immediately.
